Deliverance Prayer for Children

Preparation: Begin in a peaceful, safe environment.

Preparation:

Begin in a peaceful, safe environment. Let the child know that Jesus loves them, that you are there to help, and that nothing scary will happen. Remind them that Jesus is stronger than anything bad.

Step 1: Invite the Presence of Jesus

**Explanation:**

We start by inviting Jesus to be with us. He is our best friend and protector.

**Prayer:**

“Jesus, thank You for loving me and [child’s name]. We invite You here right now. Please fill this place with Your peace and love. Let Your angels stand around us and keep us safe.”

**Child repeats:**

“Jesus, please be with me. I want You here.”

---

### Step 2: Affirm Identity and Belonging

**Explanation:**

Let’s remember who God says you are.

**Prayer:**

“Father God, thank You for making [child’s name]. You say [he/she/they] is Your child, chosen, loved, and special. No one can take [him/her/them] out of Your hand.”

**Child repeats:**

“I am God’s child. Jesus loves me. I am safe with Him.”

---

### Step 3: Put on the Armor of God

**Explanation:**

God gives us invisible armor to protect us.

**Prayer:**

“Jesus, please put Your armor on [child’s name]. Give [him/her/them] the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit.”

**Child repeats:**

“Jesus, put Your armor on me. I am protected.”

---

### Step 4: Renounce Fear and Darkness

**Explanation:**

We tell anything bad that tries to bother us to go away in Jesus’ name.

**Prayer:**

“In Jesus’ name, I tell every spirit of fear, sadness, anger, lies, or anything not from God to leave [child’s name] right now. You are not welcome here. Jesus is Lord here.”

**Child repeats:**

“Fear, go away in Jesus’ name. Only Jesus is welcome here.”

---

### Step 5: Break Agreements and Lies

**Explanation:**

Sometimes we believe lies about ourselves. Let’s tell the truth.

**Prayer:**

“Jesus, show [child’s name] any lie [he/she/they] has believed—like ‘I’m not loved,’ ‘I’m bad,’ or ‘I’m alone.’ We break agreement with those lies and choose Your truth.”

**Child repeats (choose as needed):**

“I am loved by God.”

“I am not alone.”

“Jesus is with me.”

“I am good because Jesus loves me.”

---

### Step 6: Forgive and Release

**Explanation:**

If someone hurt you, Jesus can help you forgive them so your heart can be free.

**Prayer:**

“Jesus, is there anyone [child’s name] needs to forgive? (Pause and listen. If a name or memory comes, gently guide the child.)

[Child’s name], would you like to forgive them? You can say: ‘Jesus, I forgive [name]. Please bless them and heal my heart.’”

**Child repeats:**

“Jesus, I forgive [name]. Please bless them and heal my heart.”

---

### Step 7: Break Unhealthy Ties and Words

**Explanation:**

Sometimes people say mean things or we feel connected to things that aren’t good for us. Jesus can break those ties.

**Prayer:**

“In Jesus’ name, I break every mean word, curse, or unhealthy connection off of [child’s name]. I declare [he/she/they] belongs to Jesus alone.”

**Child repeats:**

“Jesus, break every bad tie. I belong to You.”

---

### Step 8: Heal Wounds and Memories

**Explanation:**

Jesus can heal every hurt place inside.

**Prayer:**

“Jesus, please go to every place in [child’s name]’s heart that is sad, scared, or hurt. Bring Your light and love there. Heal every memory, every feeling, and every part of [him/her/them].”

**Child repeats:**

“Jesus, please heal my heart. Make me whole.”

---

### Step 9: Fill with the Holy Spirit

**Explanation:**

Ask Jesus to fill every part of you with His Spirit.

**Prayer:**

“Holy Spirit, come and fill [child’s name]—body, mind, heart, and spirit. Fill every place with Your love, peace, and joy. Let Your light shine in [him/her/them].”

**Child repeats:**

“Holy Spirit, fill me with Your love and peace.”

---

### Step 10: Seal and Bless

**Explanation:**

We ask God to keep us safe and bless us.

**Prayer:**

“Father, I seal [child’s name] with the blood of Jesus. Let Your angels watch over [him/her/them] day and night. I bless [child’s name] with joy, peace, courage, and Your presence. Let [him/her/them] grow strong in Your love all [his/her/their] life.”

**Child repeats:**

“Thank You, Jesus, for loving me. Keep me safe and close to You.”

---

### Step 11: Praise and Thanksgiving

**Explanation:**

Let’s thank Jesus for what He’s done!

**Prayer:**

“Thank You, Jesus, for setting [child’s name] free. Thank You for Your love, protection, and joy. We give You all the praise!”

**Child repeats:**

“Thank You, Jesus! I love You!”

---
